Journal History

i2 Investigación e Innovación en Arquitectura y Territorio was created by the Department of Graphic Expression, Design and Projects for publishing research articles in the Department’s areas of knowledge. The first issue appeared in 2013, with 7 essays on architecture and land planning. The journal received so many submissions that in 2018 it started publishing two issues a year (December and June) instead of only one. Starting from January 2021, issues come out in January and July.

Also until 2023 (vol. 11, issue 2), works were published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence. From 2024, they will be licensed under a Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International licence (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0).
